The interview questions are read aloud and you tell us: about your childhood, your love, your work, your humor, your life lessons. However, each answer makes your AI Clone. You can always pause, and in addition to the questions, you can leave unlimited separate memories and anecdotes.
Exactly your voice, exactly your character
Your voice is cloned from your recordings into two levels. The standard voice sounds like yours but differs — good enough to experience your AI Clone with, and ready quickly. The professional voice captures timbre, tempo and intonation and is indistinguishable from the real thing. And your character speaks the way you do: with your expressions, your opinions and your real memories. If your granddaughter asks later about that camping trip in France, she'll hear the story the way you told it.
Not everyone wants to hear the voice — that's why there's the narrator
For some bereaved, their loved one's own voice is exactly what they need. For others, it's too soon, or too much. That's why anyone talking to your AI Clone can switch with one click to the narrator: a calm, neutral voice that tells about you instead of speaking as you. Your loved ones simply ask their questions — "how did you meet?" — and get answers from your own stories, just in the third person. The same memories, in a softer form. You can switch mid-conversation, back and forth, and the choice is always the listener's. The narrator is included with your voice, works without a voice clone, and can also be chosen separately if you prefer not to make a voice clone at all.

You decide who can talk to your AI Clone — only after activating your account. Your loved ones always see clearly that it's an AI reminder and choose whether they want it. Your recordings remain private and you can delete everything at any time. First minutes are free to try.

And your voice only becomes available 72 hours after activation, so any unintended activation can first be noticed.

How does PSILY make an AI clone of my voice?
You will record an extensive life interview (147 questions plus unlimited personal stories). From those recordings, your voice is cloned — timbre, tempo and intonation — and the system learns about your character and memories.
Do my loved ones see them talking to an AI?
Yes, always. The conversation is clearly recognisable as an AI reminder and your loved ones choose whether to use it. Only the people you appoint get access, only after activating your account.
Can someone misuse my voice for fraud?
No. Your AI Clone only speaks his own responses and never repeats texts that someone reads to him — if you ask "say this…" or "repeat this", he explains that he deliberately won't do that to prevent misuse. That boundary isn't just in the AI but also in the technology: the voice service refuses any sentence that doesn't come from your AI Clone himself. On top of that, your voice only becomes available 72 hours after activating your account — if an account were ever accidentally activated while you're still alive, there's time to notice that before a voice sounds anywhere. If you want someone to talk with your AI Clone while you're still living, that's only possible after you've separately and explicitly given permission.
What is the narrator, and why does it exist?
The narrator is a neutral voice that tells about you instead of speaking as you, based on the same stories. It exists because grief works differently for everyone: some find it a gift to hear their own voice again, others find that too confronting — especially shortly after a loss. Anyone talking to your AI Clone can therefore choose for themselves, with one click, even mid-conversation, and always switch back. You simply ask the narrator questions and get answers; only the form differs.
Do I need to make a voice clone for the narrator?
No. The narrator works without a voice clone: it uses a neutral male or female voice. You can choose it even if you prefer not to have a clone of your voice at all. If you do buy a standard voice or professional voice, the narrator is included with it.
Can I hear what the narrator sounds like?
Yes, for free. Once your character profile is built, you can listen to it and have a ten-minute conversation with it at no cost. Even if you already have a voice clone, you can switch back and forth between your own voice and the narrator in your own test conversation, so you hear both the way your loved ones will hear them.
Can I remove my AI Clone again?
Yes, at any time. All your recordings, transcripts, your character profile, and the voice link will then be permanently deleted.
Can I update my AI Clone later?
Yes — as long as you're alive you can keep adding to it: record new stories, improve responses and enrich your voice. After activating your account, your AI Clone remains exactly as you left it.
Do my recordings stay mine — even if PSILY were to stop?
Yes. Via Settings → "Download all your data" you can export all your interview recordings and transcripts at any time: the source material from which your voice was built. One thing we'll be honest about: the trained voice model itself is stored with the specialized voice service and cannot be transferred — but the recordings it was built from can be, so the voice could be rebuilt elsewhere. And should PSILY ever stop, a procedure laid out in our general terms and conditions applies, with a minimum of 6 months' notice.
