What is a Trusted Buddy?
A trusted buddy is someone you trust (one to three people) who activates your account at the right time. Buddies never see the content of your messages — they just give you the go-ahead.
What happens if I don't respond to a life sign?
First, you'll get a friendly reminder. If you don't respond after that, PSILY asks your trusted buddies to confirm what's going on. Your account will only be activated after they have been confirmed.
Is PSILY free?
You start for free without a credit card. With Premium, you get unlimited messages, video recordings, more storage and the digital vault.
How does PSILY know when to deliver a message?
You choose the moment for each message: immediately upon activation, on a fixed date or on an occasion. PSILY monitors that moment and delivers the message right on time — no sooner, no later.
Will my data always be mine?
Yes. You can download all your data as a ZIP file at any time (Settings → "Download all your data"), and each contact has a backup key that you can keep or deposit with a notary. If PSILY ever stops, there is a fixed procedure with at least 6 months' notice in which nothing is lost.
