What is PSILY?
PSILY (P.S. I Love You) is an online platform where you prepare messages, videos, audio, and gifts for the people you love. PSILY delivers them automatically when you choose — a birthday, a wedding day, or after your death.
Who is PSILY for?
For everyone who wants to leave something permanent or want to make arrangements ahead: parents and grandparents, people who are seriously ill, but just as much anyone who never wants to forget a birthday or wants to save words for later.
How does PSILY know when to deliver messages?
Messages with a date are simply delivered on that date. For “after death” messages, PSILY works with trusted buddies: counselors that you appoint and who activate your account at the right time. In addition, PSILY occasionally sends you a short life sign request as an extra safety net.
Do my trusted buddies see the content of my messages?
No, never. Trusted buddies can only activate your account; the content of your messages remains private until delivery to the chosen recipient.
Is PSILY safe?
Yes. Your data is stored encrypted on servers within the EU, encrypted backups are made every night, and the digital vault is end-to-end encrypted in your own browser. How exactly does the digital safe work?
It stores passwords, documents, or a personal video. The content is already encrypted in your browser and can later only be opened by the chosen recipient with three keys: an SMS code, an email code, and the physical passphrase that you provided.
What is the AI Clone?
You record an extensive life interview, and PSILY builds an AI likeness from it with your voice and your way of speaking. The loved ones you choose can talk with it later, in many languages. It's always clearly recognizable as AI, your voice can never be used to repeat sentences, and everything works completely under your control.
Can the AI Clone speak in other languages?
Yes. The AI Clone speaks the recipient's language - you choose which language that person speaks for each contact, and the language can also be changed during the conversation.
Can someone misuse my voice for fraud?
No. Your voice at PSILY can only say what the AI Clone itself answers in a conversation. You can't make the voice repeat sentences: if you ask "say this…" or "repeat this", the AI Clone explains that he deliberately doesn't repeat texts, precisely to prevent misuse. This boundary isn't just in the AI but also in the technology behind it: the voice service simply refuses any sentence that doesn't come from the AI Clone itself. On top of that, your AI Clone is only accessible to the loved ones you yourself have chosen and who have accepted the invitation, he always speaks visibly as AI, and you can have him completely deleted at any time. Also: your voice normally only becomes available after your account is activated, and even then with a 72-hour safety pause — if an account were ever accidentally activated while you're still alive, there's time to notice that before a voice is heard anywhere. If you want someone to talk with your AI Clone while you're still alive, that's only possible after you've given separate and explicit permission for it, with acknowledgment of the risk involved.
What does PSILY cost?
Getting started is free. Premium is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-off lifetime payment; there is also a family account for four. All current prices (including 21% VAT) are listed on the pricing page.
Can I change or delete my messages later?
Yes. As long as a message hasn't been delivered, you can edit, move, or delete it at any time. You are always in control.
What languages is PSILY available in?
The website and system are available in 48 languages. All emails and text messages to your recipients are also sent in the language that you set for each contact.
Can I also have gifts delivered?
Yes. You can plant flowers, chocolate or any other gift for a birthday, anniversary or anniversary — even years ahead and in dozens of European countries. PSILY ensures that it is delivered on time.
Can I record my funeral wishes?
Yes. You record your funeral wishes step by step — including music, photos, and documents — and PSILY even helps you with a list of funeral directors in your municipality. Your loved ones can find everything in one place.
What happens to my journal?
With the video diary, you can keep loved ones informed at your pace, for example during a treatment process. Only the people you choose can watch, and you decide whether messages can be downloaded.
What about my privacy and my data?
Your information is yours. They are kept encrypted, never sold, and only used to deliver your messages at the right time. You can have your account and information deleted at any time.
Can I export all my data?
Yes, always and with one click: via Settings → "Download all your data" you receive a ZIP with all your messages (including videos and attachments in original form), your diary, your AI Clone recordings with transcripts, your funeral and will wishes, your contacts, and your account data in machine-readable format — exactly as the GDPR intends.
What is a backup key?
For each contact, PSILY automatically creates a backup key: a phrase of six simple words. You download it as a PDF and can keep it with important documents, deposit it with a notary, or give it to a trusted person. Recipients with their own account also see their keys themselves via "My keys". The key opens — only in the event that PSILY ever stopped — the sealed package with the messages for that recipient.
What happens if PSILY ever stops?
We're completely prepared for that, with an established procedure. Everyone gets at least 6 months' notice in advance. During that period, every user can export everything, recipients can download the messages addressed to them (including undelivered ones — clearly marked with the intended moment, so the choice to wait is up to the recipient), and trusted buddies keep sealed packages for recipients without an account. Those packages are standard encrypted ZIP files: openable with free programs like 7-Zip and the backup key — so PSILY software isn't needed.
Can I give PSILY as a gift to someone else?
Yes, with a free gift card. The recipient redeems the voucher in their own wallet and chooses what to spend it on.
Does PSILY also work on my phone?
Yes. PSILY works entirely in the browser and is suitable for phones, tablets and computers - no separate app is required.
